Site work for a water / sewer project in Shakopee, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Approximate major quantities include: removal of 648 square yards of bituminous pavement; 797 cubic yards of common excavation; installation of 886 linear feet of 18 RC pipe sewer (Des 3006 Cl III); placement of 80 tons of 2 Type SP 9.5 wearing course mix (2,C) and 84 tons of 2 Type SP 12.5 wearing course mix (2,C); construction of three drainage structures (Detail 3001 - 48), two drainage structures (Detail 3001 - 60), and one special weir and orifice drainage structure. The provisions of Minnesota Statute 16C.285 Responsible Contractor are required for this contract. The Shakopee City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any defects or technicalities in bidding, and to determine whether a bid is responsive or non-responsive. The City Council further reserves the right to make a bid award to the lowest and most responsible bidder as determined by the City Council.
