The work consists of providing Landscape Maintenance Services for the City. Proposals should follow the included specifications, terms, and conditions. The fee structure must include the hourly rate of the principals to be assigned, proposed costs with line-item descriptions and pricing, expense reimbursement levels, and total costs. Contractors must possess a current valid State of California C-27 Landscaping Contractor License, State of California Department of Pesticide Regulation Qualified Applicator License, State of California Department of Pesticide Regulation Pest Control Business License, and City of Elk Grove Business License at bid submittal. The scope includes furnishing the City’s needs as they arise, and may require full demonstrations prior to award. Contractors must be able to provide service and support as requested by the City, maintain prevailing wage records, and comply with all labor code provisions. The initial contract term is three years with the possibility of two one-year extensions at the City’s option. Pricing is to remain firm for the initial term, with adjustments allowed during extensions only per CPI or prevailing wage increases upon written request and subject to review and approval by the City. A performance bond may be required at 100% of the contract value, and the cost must be shown as a line item in the proposal. Proposals must be submitted as separate technical and pricing PDFs, and all electronic files must be ADA compliant. Only contractors normally engaged in providing these services will be considered. Proposals arriving after the deadline will not be considered, and the City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals.
