Contractors Prequalified in one of these Work Types are eligible to bid this project: 6 or 6F Estimated Range $5,000,001 to $10,000,000 The Principal Items of Work Consist of: Roadway Quantity Unit Description 94,101.00 Sy Selective Clearing 2,943.00 U Tree Removal, Over 6" to 12" Diameter 366.00 U Tree Removal, Over 12" to 18" Diameter 77.00 U Tree Removal, Over 18" to 24" Diameter 50.00 U Tree Removal, Over 24" to 30" Diameter 59.00 U Tree Removal, Over 30" to 36" Diameter 17.00 U Tree Removal, Over 36" Diameter Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.35(d), if the Commissioner of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development (LWD Commissioner) makes an initial determination that an employer has violated the provisions of P.L.1963, c.150 (C.34:11-56.25 et seq.) by paying wages at rates less than the rates applicable under that act, the LWD Commissioner may immediately issue a stop-work order to cease all business operations at every site where the violation has occurred, and may assess a civil penalty of $5,000 per day against the employer for each day it conducts business operations in violation of the stop-work order. If the stop-work order is issued against a subcontractor, the general contractor may terminate that subcontractor from the project in accordance with N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.35(d). DOT reserves its right to reject any or all bids in accordance with N.J.S.A. 27:7-30 and N.J.S.A. 27:7-33.
