This work includes but is not limited to: Emptying and decommissioning of the old water tower; Disconnection of water pipes, electrical systems and control equipment; Demolition or dismantling of the old structure; Excavation work and foundation preparation for the new adiabatic cooler; Construction of new foundations and support structures; Installation of the new adiabatic cooler; Connection to existing water and plumbing systems; Installation of pumps, valves, pipelines and control systems; Installation of electrical components and alarm/monitoring systems; Frost protection and insulation of equipment, if applicable; Leak, pressure and water quality tests; Disinfection and commissioning of the new system; Verification of compliance with municipal, sanitary and fire standards; Any submissions received subsequently will be automatically rejected. The work may begin from 25 June 2026 and must be completed by 23 April 2027 at the latest. No work can be carried out during the construction holidays. From August 24, 2026, daytime work will be allowed only in the boiler room. Work involving noise or odours must be carried out after hours, at no additional cost. Bids must be accompanied by a bid guarantee representing 10% of the total amount of the bid, excluding all applicable taxes, in the form of a certified check made out to the Draveurs School Service Center, irrevocable letter of guarantee or tender bond issued by a financial institution that is an insurer holding a licence issued in accordance with the Act respecting insurance (R.S.Q., c. A-32) authorizing it to carry out surety bond insurance, a trust company licensed under the Act respecting trust companies and savings companies (R.S.Q., c. S-29.01), or a financial services cooperative governed by the Act respecting financial services cooperatives (R.S.Q., c. C-67.3) or a bank within the meaning of the Bank Act (S.C., 1991, c. 46), valid for a period of 45 days from the bid opening date, otherwise the bid will be automatically rejected.
