Description

Site work for a development in Charleston, South Carolina. Conceptual plans call for site work for a development.

The City of Charleston is seeking an engineering firm to prepare preliminary designs for the Newmarket Creek Restoration Project on the eastside of the Charleston peninsula. The project aims to develop nature-based solutions to restore saltmarsh, floodplain, and wetlands within the creek’s drainage basin and reduce chronic flooding in the lowest parts of the Eastside and East Central Neighborhoods. Funding comes in part from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation – National Coastal Resilience Fund. The consultant should have the ability to meet Small Business Enterprise (SBE) guidelines established by the City. All related documents, including any updates or addenda, are available on the City’s website at www.charleston-sc.gov (Business > BidLine > Stormwater). All questions must be submitted in writing.
