Renovation of a multi-residential development in Bonnechere Valley, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 45-unit multi-residential development.
Algonquins of Pikwakanagan First Nation, located near Eganville, are seeking a qualified contractor to complete upgrade work at 45 residences. The work will address energy efficiency, enhance protection against flooding, water damage, extreme wind, and improve year-round comfort for residences. The general work includes replacing windows with energy-efficient windows (34), replacing doors (33), replacing cladding and adding exterior insulation (10), replacing roofing (5), repairing roofing (6), repairing siding (4), spray foam header insulation (6), pony wall insulation (2), overhang insulation (4), structural work (4), eaves soffits fascia (14), extensive grading and retaining wall (1), and chimney work (2). Refer to Section 6.2 for submission requirements. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com Pre-Bidding Events: Site visits are scheduled to commence on May 25th at 9:00 am at 1657 A Mishomis Inamo, Pikwakanagan, ON K0J 1X0. Attendance by quoting contractors required. The schedule for site visits per home are scheduled to be no greater than 45 min/home. Monday to Friday 9 homes per day 5 days for a total of 45 home visits. All visits will be done along with the project team and all Contractors bidding. The successful Contractor shall also participate in project kickoff, coordination meetings as needed, and mandatory contractor training before or during mobilization. QA date - 06/05/2026
