The general nature of the work consists of construction of a new diesel-fired turbine site. The work includes installation of Owner-furnished and Contractor-furnished materials, including setting of equipment, concrete footings, foundations and flatwork, structural steel, a fire detection and suppression system, carbon dioxide tubing, air compressor and dryer, compressed air piping, fuel storage tanks and fuel oil piping, lube oil cooler and lube oil piping, water treatment skid and water piping, ductwork, fencing, conduit and ductbank, manholes, ground grid, power and control cables, AC and DC wiring, and related accessories identified within the bidding documents. Installation may occur outdoors, within the turbine enclosure, or within a generator control enclosure.
