It is the intent of this specification to obtain a firm price for the renovation of the Old Bedford School. The project consists of interior renovations, limited exterior repairs, and accessibility/security upgrades to support its use as a cultural arts center and community event facility. Work includes restroom renovations, prep/serving kitchen construction, interior reconfiguration, historic restoration elements, lighting upgrades, exterior masonry repair, security improvements, and finish restoration. All work shall preserve the historic character of the facility while improving functionality and security.
