Tri-County Council for the Lower Eastern Shore of Maryland, Shore Transit division (ST) is a mid-size, predominantly rural, transportation agency in the lower shore region of Maryland comprised of Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester counties. ST operates 64 vehicles - 27 fixed route buses, 27 paratransit vehicles, and 10 support vehicles. ST is funded by grants from the Maryland Transportation Administration, the Federal Transit Administration, and local funds. The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to seek proposals from experienced contractors to place security fencing around the perimeter of the bus parking lot and Maintenance Facility (roughly 1500 feet). The fence should be able to attach to current fencing that at the facility. The RFP provides interested parties with information in a fair and competitive manner to ensure a high quality of both product and service. ST intends to use the results of this process to award a contract for installation of a security fence.
