Sealed proposals from qualified general contractors will be received for two projects: Renovations for Cullman Middle School (Architect Job No. LAA-26-003) and Cullman Intermediate Playground Renovation (Architect Job No. LAA-26-033). Bids must be in duplicate and accompanied by a cashier's check or bid bond not less than five percent of the proposal amount, not exceeding $10,000. Performance and Payment Bonds and evidence of insurance are required at contract signing. Contractors must be properly licensed for the project classification and provide evidence of licensing prior to receiving plans and specifications. Bids must be submitted on forms provided by the architect. Only contractors on the official bidders list, who have obtained plans and specifications from the architect, will have their bids considered. The current General Contractor's License Number must be displayed on the outside of the sealed envelope. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if judged to be in the owner's best interest.
