The City is soliciting Proposals from qualified construction contractors (Contractor) for multiple Citywide public works construction projects aimed at improving City infrastructure. The scope of work requires furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, services and incidentals to complete various public construction projects. It is expected that there will be an Agreement between the City and the selected firm(s). The Agreement will define the framework for the term contract award. Work orders will be issued under the Agreement, and the specific scope of each project will be defined, as developed by the City or its consultant for various construction projects. No work shall be performed without an authorized Work Order. Such Work Orders may include, but will not be limited to, the following disciplines: 1. Sidewalk - Covers the construction, replacement, repair, and rehabilitation of pedestrian infrastructure. Work may include concrete sidewalk installation, ADA-compliant ramps, detectable warning surfaces, curbs, driveway aprons, pavers, pedestrian path restoration, associated grading, and incidental site work and restoration necessary to deliver safe, accessible pedestrian facilities. 2. Roadway - Encompasses improvements to vehicular travel surfaces and supporting roadway elements. Work may include asphalt milling and resurfacing, full-depth reconstruction, base preparation, pavement markings, signage, traffic control devices, curbing, shoulder work, and related roadway restoration activities required to maintain safe and functional transportation corridors. 3. Stormwater - Includes installation, repair, and rehabilitation of stormwater conveyance and drainage infrastructure. Work may include subsurface drainage systems, culverts, manholes, inlets, exfiltration trenches, swales, outfalls, erosion control, and incidental site work and restoration required to ensure proper stormwater flow, collection, and management in compliance with regulatory standards.
