The Board of Education of the Ballston Spa Central School District invites the submission of sealed bids for the High School Faculty Lot Paving. Bids must be received at the District Business Office at 70 Malta Avenue, Ballston Spa, New York 12020 by 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 21, 2026. A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at the Ballston Spa High School, south end parking lot at 220 Ballston Avenue, Ballston Spa, NY 12020. Specifications, Instructions to Bidders, and the Bid Form may be obtained at the same office. All proposals must comply with the Instructions to Bidders. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject all bids. Any bid submitted will be binding for 90 days subsequent to the date of the bid opening. Ballston Spa is accepting proposals from qualified vendors to provide site prep and paving of the south end parking lot at the Ballston Spa High School. Details on project are as follows: 1. Perform all necessary grading work to existing gravel parking lot (approximately 16,500 +/- square feet) 2. Provide 6-8" compacted granular aggregate base 3. 2" binder course compacted 4. 2" Top course compacted 5. Paint parking spots - Blue for handicap and yellow for other parking spots. 6. The contractor and the District shall collaborate and mutually agree upon project duration and scheduling of the work. Vendors are requested to ensure that their bid meets the following requirements: 1. Proposal must include a turnkey total cost for the project. 2. Any permitting, licenses, equipment rentals, etc., must be included in the proposal.
