The Work of the Project is defined by the immediately following Project Description herein below and by the Contract Documents. Project Description Provide labor, materials, tests, tools and equipment to complete the Facade Repairs Kaufman Hall - 406 West 31st Street Project. Contractor may begin survey and procurement of materials following award. Please refer to the specifications and drawings. The Contractor is to coordinate with FIT's On-Call Security Devises and Wiring Contractor, if applicable. The scope of work includes facade repairs at Kaufman Hall, with specific reference to the installation of a cantilevered platform supported above the 1st Floor setback roof along the south facade. An Engineered Enclosure System is to be erected on top of the platform, covering the windowless walls at the east and west ends and the entire middle section above the setback roof. Additional details and requirements for the enclosure system, including specification and design criteria, are referenced in the revised Contractor's Proposal Bid Form and updated drawings. Bidders are instructed to review all addenda, updated forms, and drawings, and incorporate any changes or clarifications into their proposals and calculations. A signature acknowledging receipt and understanding of the addendum, and confirmation that appropriate adjustments have been made, must be included with the proposal submittal.
