Rebid Gillespie Residence Hall (Grh) Shingle Roof Replacement and Installation of a Roof Hatch on the Grh Roofharris-stowe State University (Hssu) is Again Requesting Bids for Shingle Roof Replacement and Installation of a Roof Hatch on the Roof at Gillespie Residence Hall Which is Located at 3026 Laclede Avenue, St. Louis, Mo 63103. The University Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids and to Waive All Informalities in Bids. Scope of Work: 1. Remove existing shingle roofing from on the entire roof down to expose the sheathing and dispose of legally. Sweep boom clean and make it ready to receive a new roof. 2. Thoroughly inspect the wood decking. Damaged or deteriorated areas should be removed and replaced. 3. Existing static dome roof vents should be removed from the roof and holes covered with new plywood decking. 4. Install one (1) course of 36" Winter/guard, self-adhered, waterproofing barrier at the cave edges. It should be installed in all valleys. 5. Install one (1) course of Winter/Guard PRO, High Temperature, self-adhered waterproofing barrier along all metal valleys. 6. Install Roof Runner synthetic felt fastened securely to sheathing. Cover all exposed wood decking. 7. Install Landmark UL 2218 Class 3 Impact Resistant shingles provide durability and aesthetics. Class A fire resistance, with a dual-layer design should be provide. The University will select the color. 8. Install Shadow Ridge, to cover all hip and ridge areas of the roof. Color to match the shingle color provided by the Owner. 9. Install new lead pipe flashing at all plumbing vents through the roof. 10. Install Ridge Vent, a high-impact copolymer, shingle over roof rigid ridge vent, should be installed along the entire peak of the roof. 11. Upon completion of work, all debris shall be removed from the premises. 12. A 65' lift must be provided by the bidder.
