Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Beattyville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Pumps: Supply two Myers submersible pumps, 15 HP, 1100 GPM at 25 TDH (or approved equal). Remove and dispose of existing pumps. Install a new pump base and guide rail system. Clean and refurbish the existing wet well, including debris removal with a vacuum truck. Install new 4-inch ductile iron discharge piping to the existing outlet. Install a new control panel, conduit, and wiring for pumps and floats. Construct a five-foot elevated wood platform for the control panel. Provide all labor, materials, installation, and warranty details. Bids must be clearly marked as indicated. Small disadvantaged businesses, including those that are minority-owned, women-owned, or veteran-owned, are encouraged to bid. Comply with affirmative action and equal opportunity requirements. Bidders must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, The Anti-Kickback Act, Contract Work Hours' Standard Act, 40CFR 31.36 L (3,4 & 6), and Executive Order No. 11246 as amended. Attention is called to employment conditions and minimum wage rates under the contract, including Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109, and E.O. 11246. Minority bidders are encouraged to bid. Bids may not be withdrawn within 1 day after opening. The owner reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids.
