The project includes installation of approximately 800 linear feet of 20-inch waterline, along with associated valves, fire hydrants, and service reconnections. Bids must be in accordance with drawings and specifications and on forms available from the designated provider. Bidders are required to provide bid security in the form of a bid bond in the amount of 100 percent of the bid price or certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit equal to ten percent of the bid amount. Each bid must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the bid and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity, and a complete listing of all subcontractors to be used. Offers must be submitted on the provided bid form. All iron and steel products used must be produced in the United States. All employees and applicants for employment must not be discriminated against based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, handicap, ancestry, or age.
