Site work for a water / sewer project in Flemington, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Flemington Borough is requesting bids for the Shields and Pennsylvania Avenue Water Main Improvement Project. The work includes, for the base bid on Shields Ave.: installation of approximately 2,100 linear feet of 12” Class 52 C.L.D.I.P. pipe, 11 units of 1” water service connections, 600 linear feet of 1” Type K copper water service pipe, 4 hydrant assemblies, 8 units of 12” gate valve and valve box, 1 unit of 8” gate valve and valve box, 1,000 square yards of trench pavement repair (7” HMA 19M-64), 6,000 square yards to mill and resurface (2” 9.5M-64), and other miscellaneous pipe and restoration items. The alternate bid for Pennsylvania Ave. includes approximately 1,500 linear feet of 8” Class 52 C.L.D.I.P. pipe, 24 units of 1” water service connections, 1,200 linear feet of 1” Type K copper water service pipe, 3 hydrant assemblies, 1 unit of 12” gate valve and valve box, 4 units of 8” gate valve and valve box, 1,000 square yards of trench pavement repair (7” HMA 19M-64), 4,500 square yards to mill and resurface (2” 9.5M-64), and other miscellaneous pipe and restoration items. The Borough reserves the right to award the base bid, base bid plus alternate bid, or to reject all bids.
