Renovation of a multi-residential development in Shoreline, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

Paramount House was built in 1968 and has a basement level with a community room, office, electrical and machine rooms, restrooms and storage. The residential units are located on floors one, two and three and contain seventy (70) dwelling units (42-Studio, 27-1BR, 1-2BR.) The resident population is a diverse mix of senior and disabled residents with some requiring special accommodations. Units will be occupied at all times during construction. Project Address: 1750 NE 145th St., Shoreline, WA 98155 Contractor to install a parallel FA system using Potter Electric Brand System equipment. Once the new parallel FA system has passed all its inspections, the contractor will take the existing Silent Knight system offline and remove all devices and wire runs. KCHA will not allow any substitutions for the specified Potter equipment. The contractor is required to read all supplemental documents (Paramount House Fire Alarm Replacement Assessment Report, One-line Diagram Drawings, Floor Plan Drawings), and Specifications. The Contractor shall be responsible to verify all locations where the fire alarm system is to be installed. Payable to: King County Housing Authority Process: Bid Bond or Certified Check will be returned to the Unsuccessful Bidders within Ten (10) Days after the Contract Award. Provide with your bid proposal, a written statement from the contractor's bonding agent of the contractor's ability and capacity for providing a one hundred (100%) percent Performance and Payment Bond for the project. The statement shall be made on the official letterhead of the bonding company and signed by an authorized agent of the bonding company. The King County Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) calendar days subsequent to the opening of the bids without the written consent of KCHA. The King County Housing Authority also reserves the right to reject all bids, for any reason, prior to Contract Execution.
