Renovation of a data center facility in St Petersburg, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a data center facility.
The City of St. Petersburg is requesting quotes from qualified vendors for the installation of a conventional split style AC system sized for 3.5-tons to be mounted on the floor. The requested system requires a new outdoor condenser unit, indoor air handler unit, and associated refrigerant piping. The new system will replace the current 5-ton Libert unit, which must be uninstalled and disposed of by the vendor. Additionally, a separate standalone humidifier system with a capacity of 5 pounds per hour must be installed, as the conventional split style AC units do not provide humidifier capability. At least 20 percent of the contracting effort, including the cost of supplies, must be self-performed by the SBE prime contractor. All questions pertaining to the terms and conditions or scope of work of this solicitation must be in writing to the Procurement and Supply Management Department.
