Ottawa Community Housing requires the services of qualified General Contractors to support the delivery of 300 – 500 residential units per year as part of its strategic priority to build and preserve affordable housing. Up to twelve (12) General Contractors will be prequalified to respond to future Requests for Tenders or Proposals for new multi-residential affordable housing developments on an as-and-when required basis. The prequalification will typically use the CCDC2-2020 Stipulated Price Contract with OCH supplementary conditions, but any construction method may be used. This prequalification establishes a roster valid for an initial two-year term, automatically renewing for subsequent 12-month terms until withdrawal or termination by OCH. There is no commitment or obligation to proceed with any projects under this prequalification. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
