Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Tama, Iowa. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel.
This project generally includes furnishing all labor, material, and equipment necessary for the construction of new pavement, grading, removal of approximately 595 LF of the existing box culvert, installation of a new precast storm culvert, installation of transitions between the existing culvert and the new culvert, and reconstruction of approximately 888 LF of Highway 63 with concrete paving and new storm sewer. The project area is on Highway 63 from the Union Pacific Railroad to 5th Street in the City of Tama, Iowa. Electronic bids for the work comprising each improvement as stated must be filed before 10:00 A.M. on June 10, 2026, local time. Bids shall be submitted electronically via the Quest CDN VirtuBid system. No electronic bid submittals or paper bids will be accepted. Bids will not be able to be electronically submitted after the deadline. Refer to the Instructions to Bidders for additional information.
