The objective is to assess and evaluate the safety of the Women's Coulee Dam and its appurtenant structures, including identification and review of dam safety deficiencies, non-conformances, and operations, maintenance and surveillance (OMS) issues, along with recommendations for remediation and risk mitigation or management. The Dam Safety Review should comply with the requirements outlined in the attached Terms of Reference, Part 6 of Water (Ministerial) Regulation (205/1998), Alberta Dam and Canal Safety Directive (December 2018), Alberta Agriculture and Irrigation's Dam Safety Management Plan (October 2024 - Standards Document), and Dam Safety best practices including Canadian Dam Association Guidelines and Technical Bulletins.
