Remove damaged areas and install new concrete sidewalks, curbs and gutter, and ADA curb ramps. 2. Fill new and existing expansion joints with backer and/or sealant. 3. The bidder shall be responsible for locating and protecting all utilities. 4. The bidder shall be responsible for cleaning, backfilling, final grading, and sod. Scope Remove specified areas of damaged sidewalk and curbs. Replace with new sidewalks, curbs and gutter, and ADA curb ramps. Approximately 3,193 square feet of sidewalks, 135 feet of 6"x6"x6" curb and gutter, and four (4) ADA curb ramps. Remove and replace a one driveway apron. Minimum 6" thick, 4,000 PSI concrete over 4" thick compacted aggregate base. Approximately 25'x 30'. Add Alternates Replace asphalt pads and paths with concrete. Approximately 750 SF. Schedule This is a turn-key project that can begin May 27, 2026, and must be completed by June 30, 2026. The available work hours will be Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 3 PM. Specifications 1. Obtain all necessary permits and locate utilities. 2. Coordinate with Collierville Schools to avoid disruptions to school activities and traffic. 3. Stage equipment, tools and materials in designated areas to avoid unnecessary damage to the lawn therefore minimizing the need for grading and sod grass. 4. Protect existing sidewalks, driveways, poles, ornaments, utilities, and structures from damage. 5. Remove and dispose of damaged concrete sidewalks, ramps, gutters, curbs, etc. where necessary. 6. Prepare the site for new concrete. Remove roots, poor soil, etc., and grade to ensure adequate drainage. 7. Thoroughly compact subgrade by rolling or tamping before placing any concrete. All soft or spongy places shall be removed and filled with suitable material which shall be compacted in layers not exceeding six (6") inches. 8. Pin existing concrete with a minimum of three (3) each 3/8" diameter X 16" long steel rods evenly spaced to tie into new concrete. 9. Install 3/8" wide expansion joints where new and old concrete meet and at a minimum of one expansion joint every thirty (30') feet. 10. Install three (3) each 3/8" diameter X 16" long pins evenly spaced at each expansion joint. 11. Construct each sidewalk and curb ramp to ADA standards found at 12. Install 3,500 to 4,000 psi concrete with fiber, at a minimum of four (4") inches thick. 13. Place three (3) each 3/8" diameter X 16" long pins evenly spaced at each control joint. 14. Strike control joints at approximately equal intervals for aesthetics. 15. Align curb, gutter and sidewalk joints. Provide scored joints at intervals similar to existing sidewalks and curbs. Apply a light broom finish to surface perpendicular to the direction of travel. 16. Form, pin, pour, and shape each 6"x6"6" curb and gutter similarly. Provide scored joints and a trial finish with clean and consistent rounded edges. 17. Remove all forms and stakes. Remove and dispose of rubble and excess construction materials. Prepare and backfill the surrounding area with clean fill dirt before placing sod as needed to cover all bare dirt, ruts, and gouges. 18. Prepare expansion joints for filler and sealer. Remove all damaged, cracked and loose or compromised joint filler. Remove plant growth, dirt, dust, and debris from voids. Fill expansion joints to industry standards with backer rod and flexible, self-leveling sealant designed for concrete expansion joints. 19.
