Orange County, Florida, henceforth referred to as the County is accepting sealed bids for Eastern Regional Water Supply Facility Ground Storage Tanks and Variable Frequency Drives Improvement (Y26-746) This Project includes improvements to the existing ground storage tanks 1, 2, and 3, improvements like: replacement of the ladder with a stairway, replacement of the level transmitter, new interior and exterior coating system, repair, and coating of existing interior piping. Replacement of existing 600HP variable frequency drives (VFD's) for high service pumps 1 to 6, including soft starters. Installation of a concrete injection vault and new chemical injector on the high service pump suction manifold for sodium hypochlorite post-injection to replace the existing 6-inch buried injection line. Installation of an alternate 4-log sample port on the 48" water main upstream of high service pumps 7 and 8. The Estimated Cost for this project is $11,008,000.00 The County is ONLY accepting electronic bid submissions e-Procurement Platform. Consideration for modification or alteration of the documents contained in this solicitation shall be requested during the specified question period, before the applicable deadline. No oral interpretation of the meaning of the plans, specifications, or other Contract documents shall be considered binding.
