Demolition, site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel.
This project consists of maintenance and protection of traffic during construction, installation of erosion and sedimentation controls, removal of existing superstructure, construction of a proposed 55 prefabricated bridge superstructure, reconstruction of approach roadways, restoration of disturbed grounds, and removal of erosion and sedimentation controls. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or Bidder's Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal, in favor of Mount Pleasant Township. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage requirements apply. All contractors must adhere to Act 127 of 2012 (Public Works Employment Verification Act). No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after filing. Mount Pleasant Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informality in bids received.
