Demolition, site work, paving, new construction, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Brookshire, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the addition of a water / sewer project; for site work for a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The deadline to ask questions is 5/30/2026 10:00 AM CDT Bidders desiring further information or further interpretation of any part of the Contract Documents are hereby obligated to submit a written request online for such information to Engineer not less than seven (7) calendar days before the Bid opening. The work consists of providing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to construct Laurel Farms Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion to 0.2 MGD for Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 258. The site work contractor is responsible for all site work, including but not limited to construction of yard piping; modifications to effluent manholes; site work; storm piping, inlets, manholes and storm outfall; demolition and replacement of portions of crushed concrete roads; crushed concrete IWTP pad for proposed tanks; protective coatings; modifications to existing stair landing; modifications to existing blower control panel pad; concrete sludge draw-off station; concrete housekeeping pads for backwash pumps at the tertiary filters; bypass pumping for modifications to existing tanks; swales, rip-rap, and culverts; and site restoration. The electrical scope of the site work shall include distribution rack modifications; intake basin rack modifications; lighting contactor; underground ductbank, conduit and wiring; terminal boxes at Aeration Basin No. 2; grounding; installation of the PLC Panel supplied by package plant vendor at the distribution rack; and all else specified and shown in the construction drawings. The package plant vendor scope includes the package wastewater treatment plant facilities to expand the plant capacity from 100,000 gallons per day average daily flow to 200,000 gallons per day average daily flow and shall include delivery and assembly of the plant with all accessories and equipment; the aeration basins; multi-stage digester unit; modifications to existing chlorination equipment; walkways, bridges, and handrails; air diffusion equipment; air lifts; flow measurement equipment and PLC control panel; blower; aboveground interconnecting piping, valves, fittings, supports, hose bibbs; modifications to the blower control panel; basin lighting, and all other electrical plant devices; and electrical wiring (including wiring from field equipment to the terminal boxes at Aeration Basin No. 2 and from field equipment to the local control panel); and all accessories, equipment, piping, etc. within the plant, complete as specified. Within the package plant vendor scope is all the plant related functions from the stub up for the force main piping upstream of the manual bar screen and the stub up for the effluent piping downstream of the chlorine contact basin; and everything in between. The installation of the package plant facilities shall be the responsibility of the package plant vendor. Installation includes all delivery, installation and start-up. The site work contractor shall coordinate with the package plant vendor for all connections and slab dimensions. The site work contractor is responsible for all site work shown in the construction drawings including all work not associated with the plant between the influent flange at the manual bar screen and the effluent flange at the tertiary filter basins and not specifically addressed in the package plant vendor agreement. However, the site work contractor is responsible for concrete slabs and pads, and all buried piping located within the limits of the proposed plant. All buried piping shall be installed with a flanged stub-up approximately 12-inches (12") above finished grade at all locations. The site work contractor shall perform installation of all underground duct bank electrical work including connection from a new electrical service to the service rack including all aboveground conduit and wire to pads. The package plant vendor is responsible for all electrical work downstream of the local control panels for package plant equipment and downstream of the terminal boxes at Aeration Basin No. 2. The site work contractor is responsible for all underground duct bank work and all other electrical work from the distribution rack to the local control panels and the terminal boxes at Aeration Basin No. 2. The site work contractor is responsible for coordination with package plant vendor to coordinate pipe and electrical connections, buried pipe locations, deliveries and schedules.
