Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in McBride, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a 365-room water / sewer project.

The Village of McBride is requesting proposals from qualified and experienced firms for the implementation of Advanced Metering Infrastructure on the water service connections within the service area. The project involves installing water meters on the remaining services in the Village of McBride, replacing existing water meters and data collection technology, and implementing AMI throughout the Village. The scope includes the installation of 365 water meters (283 new and 82 replacements) and the installation of AMI technology to collect data at a central point accessible by the Village. The Village prefers a fixed network AMI due to limitations of cellular network coverage in the area, but proposals using cellular network AMI or a combination will also be considered.
