Qualified contractors are invited to submit an offer for the Buerkle Restrooms project. The project consists of an interior renovation, including conversion of existing interior areas into new use spaces. Renovations include transforming existing locker room and shower rooms into larger student restrooms, faculty restrooms, and a band area; converting the existing Strings Room into two classrooms; repurposing the existing band area into a Strings Room and faculty work area; and converting the existing custodian, partial gym closet, and corridor into a PE office. Contract documents will be available, and contractors may obtain electronic or printed documents from County Blue Reprographics. A refundable deposit is required for printed documents. A Bid Bond and Performance and Payment Bond will be required. The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers, or to waive any informalities in the bidding. The successful bidder must agree to conform to the rules and regulations of the Fair Employment Practices Commission and comply with Equal Employment Opportunity provisions. Contractor must adhere to Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations Prevailing Wage Rates and be enrolled in the E-Verify Federal Work Authorization Program. All prospective bidders are encouraged to attend a pre-bid conference at the project site. Contractors are responsible for field verifying all conditions and dimensions.
