Renovation of a detention facility in New York, New York. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
The work consists of construction services to replace uninterruptible power supply equipment in the West Building at the Metropolitan Detention Center Brooklyn. The scope includes removal of two existing Eaton 9380 uninterruptible power supply systems, associated battery cabinets, batteries, and related equipment, followed by furnishing and installing two new uninterruptible power supply systems with new battery cabinets, batteries, and all related components. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and services necessary to complete the replacement in accordance with the statement of work, which is subject to change. The project is anticipated to be awarded as a firm-fixed-price construction contract and is intended for small business participation. The estimated magnitude of this project lies between $250,000 and $500,000.
