Renovate the McClatchy High School team room and adjacent areas. The work includes all labor and materials to update the team room and adjacent storage room. The scope of work is further detailed in Attachment “A.” The project must be completed within fifty (50) consecutive calendar days from the date specified in the District’s Notice to Proceed and is subject to approval by the District or its authorized representative. Instructions to bidders: Bidders must submit sealed bids, clearly marked per instructions, on the forms provided by the District. All required documents must be included. Only prequalified bidders pursuant to Public Contract Code section 20111.5 are eligible. Attendance at the mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit is required; failure to attend or tardiness will render a bid ineligible. The successful bidder must furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond, and comply with prevailing wage requirements. Bidders must be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations and possess appropriate State of California Contractor Licenses (A and/or B), which must remain active and in good standing for the contract duration. Additional conditions and forms required include a bid bond, non-collusion declaration, site visit certification, designated subcontractors list, insurance certificates, workers’ compensation certification, registered subcontractors list, and others as specified in the contract documents. Bids not meeting these conditions will be deemed nonresponsive and not considered. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and/or waive any irregularities.
