Description

Remodeling of an educational facility in Bakersfield, California. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility.

Sealed bids are invited for the Norris Multi-Site HVAC Project. Bidders must submit the following documents by the stated bid deadline: Bid Form, Non-Collusion Declaration, Site Visit Certification, Designation of Subcontractors, Cash/Certified/Cashier's Check or Bid Bond, Information Required From Bidders, DVBE Participation Goal Compliance, Bidder's Acknowledgement of Project Schedule, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Certification, Davis Bacon Compliance Certification, and if applicable, Corporate Resolution authorizing the officer to sign on behalf of and bind the corporation. Bidders must possess required contractor's license classifications: General Category #1, HVAC Category #17, and Electrical Category #19. Plans, specifications, and bid documents are available digitally from Miller Construction. The time for completion of all work under the contract is 58 consecutive calendar days after the District’s Notice to Proceed. The project is subject to prevailing wage requirements and compliance monitoring by the Department of Industrial Relations. Contractors must post the prevailing wage scale at each job site and ensure all workers and subcontractors are paid not less than prevailing rates. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference and job walk will be held at designated school sites. Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud at the specified time and place.
