The project involves resurfacing highways at various locations in the Northeast, Sector I. The principal items of work include providing Superpave Asphalt 12.5MM and 19.0MM and various mix totaling 24,700 tons, installation of curbs, curbs & gutters for 11,000 linear feet, and construction of 67,000 square feet of sidewalk. Bidders are required to be prequalified in categories A02602 (Bituminous Paving) and D02620 (Curbs, Gutters & Sidewalk). The cost classification range for the project is from $7,000,000 to $8,000,000. The participation goals are set at 21% for Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) and 9% for Women Business Enterprises (WBE).
