Site work for a civil project in Cornwall, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Secondary Raw Water Intake. The project will include a new intake from the north bank of the Cornwall Canal extending approximately 260m into the north channel of the St. Lawrence River using trenchless technologies under the Cornwall Canal and into the river. The intake structure will be located at an approximate depth of 7.9m of water. A new low lift pumping station connects the new intake to the Cornwall Water Process Plant (WPP) with the installation of an approximate 680m transmission pipeline along King Street, Young Street and Second Street West. TIMELINE: A Request for Proposal for engineering services has been issued by the Owner. Further update may be confirmed upon award.
