The work includes milling, resurfacing, and reconstruction of Autumn Ridge Road, Drummers Log Lane, Kestrel Lane, and Gatehouse Road. The project also covers ADA curb ramp and associated sidewalk improvements, drainage inlet repair and upgrades, and traffic striping. Principal items of work include HMA milling, hot mix asphalt surface course, concrete sidewalk and driveway work, concrete and Belgian block curbing, installation and resetting of inlet castings, and reconstruction of inlet types using new castings. The work must be completed within 60 calendar days of notice to proceed. Principal items of work in the project include: 16,250 S.Y. HMA Milling, 3” or Less 2,205 Tons Hot Mix Asphalt 9.5M64 Surface Course 42 S.Y. Concrete Sidewalk, 4” Thick 11 S.Y. Concrete Sidewalk, 6” Thick 10 S.Y. Concrete Driveway, Reinforced, 6” Thick 29 L.F. 9” x 18” Concrete Vertical Curb 103 L.F. Belgian Block Curb 21 Units Set Inlet, Type B, Using New Casting 4 Units Reset Existing Casting 9 Units Reconstructed Inlet, Type B, Using New Casting 1 Unit Reconstructed Inlet, Type E, Using New Casting Bids must be made on prescribed forms and include the non-collusion affidavit, ownership statement compliance form, Consent of Surety, and a certified check, cashier's check, or Bid Bond of at least ten percent of the bid amount (not exceeding $20,000). The successful bidder must provide a performance and payment bond for 100% of the accepted bid amount, as well as required insurance certificates. Bids must comply with New Jersey legal requirements for corporations and employment opportunity, and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope clearly labeled for the project. The successful bidder must comply with prevailing wage rates as determined by the New Jersey Department of Labor. The owner reserves the right to reject bids, waive informalities, and accept the lowest responsible bid.
