Furnish labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary for approximately 8,000 square feet of 4-inch sidewalk replacement, 920 square feet of 6-inch sidewalk replacement, 20 linear feet, and miscellaneous items associated with the above work. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with the name and address of the bidder, project title, and contract number. Bidders are required to complete and file a Bidder’s Proof of Responsibility Questionnaire no later than seven calendar days prior to bid opening. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or satisfactory bid bond payable to the City of Beloit in the amount of 5% of the bid. The successful bidder must furnish both a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond for 110% of the contract price for each bond. The City of Beloit reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities, or accept the bid(s) that best serve its interests. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty days after the scheduled opening without the consent of the City of Beloit.
