Decommissioning of the existing septic holding tank for the brick-and-mortar building in full compliance with all applicable environmental regulations, performing environmental testing. Demolish the existing enclosure fence and reconstruct a new fence. Temporarily relocate the generator. Conduct Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) scanning to locate the septic tank. Perform utility locates and scans. Excavate soil to expose the septic tank and surrounding structure. Install shoring systems to stabilize and prevent collapse of the building's east wall. Carry out environmental soil testing. Implement environmental protection measures. Remove contaminated materials from within the septic tank. Mobilize a crane and safely extract the existing septic tank. Transport the tank to a designated landfill for environmental waste. Question Deadline 05/25/2026 at 2:00 PM ET Site Walkthrough: A maximum of one representative of each Bidder, or its authorized representative is permitted to attend the OPTIONAL site visit. Attendees will meet the BGIS representative at the 1743 River Road North RR#3, Walpole Island, Wallaceburg, ON. Bidders are advised that they must preregister via email, and on behalf of their authorized representative including sub-contractors, to the procurement specialist named in this ITT (rajesh.gupta@bgis.com) by the date indicated in item 2.6.15 (May 19, 2026 before noon) to be authorized to access the site. Failure to register may result in the Bidder’s representative being refused access to the site. BGIS will contact all Bidders that register and confirm the site visit time in the case when there are multiple site visit times. For mandatory site visits, Bidders are only required to attend one scheduled site visit to be eligible to bid. Bidders will be notified of any changes to the date of the site visit by Addenda.
