SCOPE OF WORK: The Oswego County Department of Health is requesting two (2) separate quotes from qualified contractors for the repair/replacement of perimeter chain link fence located at the closed Volney Landfill, 333 Silk Road, Fulton, New York. QUOTE # 1: Shall be for a section of chain link fence along Howard Road where approximately fifty (50) feet of fence and two (2) posts were damaged in a vehicle collision. QUOTE # 2: Shall be for a section of fence along the Silk Road where the cross wires and wire ties that hold the mesh fencing were damaged by annual snow drifts and need repair/replacement. This encompasses the removal and replacement of approximately 850’ of top rail, and the retying of approximately 850’ of existing-fence fabric to their original rails. This quote shall also include the repair of a section of fencing on the west side of the site damaged by large tree. This includes the removal and replacement of approximately two (2) 21’ lengths of top rail and 35’ of damaged fabric. Additionally, the main posts on the front gate to the facility are cracked and leaning and need to be reset, this also needs to be included in the quote.
