Site work and renovation of a civil project in Boon, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and road / highway.

The project consists of a culvert replacement at the US-131 and M-115 Southbound Ramp. The work involves replacing an existing culvert with seventy-two feet of 36-inch diameter class A concrete pipe. The project site is located approximately 380 feet south of M-115 on the US-131 southbound ramp in Wexford County. The work must be completed by August 13, 2026. All materials and work must be in accordance with the 2020 MDOT Standard Specifications for Construction and the attached special provisions. Replace existing culvert with 72' of 36" diameter class A concrete pipe- approximately 380' south of M-115 on the US-131 southbound ramp, Wexford County. The work must be completed by August 13, 2026 prior to MDOT project 204028 commencing. Specifications are available at the Road Commission office in Boon, Michigan. Telephone or faxed bids will not be accepted. All materials and all work will be in accordance with the 2020 MDOT Standard Specifications for Construction and the attached special provisions. Insurance requirements shall be in accordance with the 2020 MDOT Standard Specifications for Construction. Award is contingent upon Board approval. The Wexford County Road Commission, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Sub-Title A, Office the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
