The Flagg-Rochelle Community Park District is soliciting bids for the Cooper Park Parking Lot - 2" HMA Overlay Project. The project is located at Cooper Park in Rochelle, Illinois. This project is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. All questions must be submitted in writing to Jackee Ohlinger at johlinger@rochelle parkdistrict.org by 11:00 a.m., May 15, 2026. SCOPE OF WORK : The Contractor shall furnish all labor and equipment for the install of a 2" HMA Overlay at Cooper Park parking lot , 1604 10th Avenue , Rochelle . The Contractor shall include in the bid the following : Based on 2,378 sq yds of asphalt overlay ; see image attached . Saw cut butt joints , remove asphalt & haul away Clean surface of dirt and debris . Tack coact as needed to insure proper adhesion of new HMA to old . Lay leveler HMA mat in low spots Hot asphalt pave new 2" HMA surface. Hard compact surface & finish edges flush with existing surface . Stripe back parking stalls in same pattern .
