The work generally consists of the installation of a Greensand filter for the removal of manganese and an activated carbon treatment system for the removal of PFAS from groundwater for two wells: North Well 3 and North Well 4. The project also includes new chlorine gas disinfection and new raw water piping from the two wells to the manganese and PFAS treatment and disinfection facility located at the project site. Provide, erect and maintain tree protection fencing as shown or as necessary. 2. Provide and maintain traffic control during the construction period. 3. Provide, construct, erect, maintain and eventually remove as required soil erosion and sediment control measures and features. 4. Construct temporary parking/mobilization/staging area as needed. 5. Clear and grub the project site. 6. Locate existing utilities. 7. Demolition of existing features. 8. Perform excavation including rock removal (if necessary). 9. Install tie in point with existing infrastructure for new treatment system. 10. Install water and sanitary piping within the site. 11. Complete treatment system building, including foundations, walls, interior treatment tanks, interior piping and roofing. 12. Install exterior features including backwash tank, foundation and valve vault. 13. Complete site work including temporary roadway paving, final pavement restoration, concrete installation and/or replacement, final grading, top soiling, seeding and landscaping. 14. Provide testing of the treatment system and piping; and all aforementioned construction and equipment. 15. Provide disinfection of the treatment systems, water mains and associated appurtenances as required. 16. Provide systems startup and operating training. 17. Perform site cleanup and removal of temporary facilities.
