Site work and paving for a road / highway in St. John's, Newfoundland. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Closing Time: 2:30 PM NT **Please note that there has been 4 addendum issued for this project.** Project has been extended. This project serves to improve vehicle and pedestrian safety at various intersections in the City of St. John's. Intersections along Kelsey Drive, specifically the Walmart/Home Depot access and the Canadian Tire/Swiss Chalet access, will receive new traffic and pedestrian crossing signals. The Kelsey Drive intersection at the TD Bank/Swiss Chalet access will have a new median to facilitate a right-turn-only vehicular movement. The intersection of Thorburn Road at Goldstone and Seaborn Street will have its existing traffic signals and configuration upgraded. These upgrades follow recommendations from the 2018-2022 Collision Report, which identified these locations as having the highest collision rates. Submission of bids is to be completed online, and a public opening of bids will take place at the City's Purchasing Office. Deadline for Questions Wednesday May 27, 2026 [4:00 PM] local time
