Site work for a mixed-use development in Comox, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and educational facility.
Project Description: The design and installation of an inclusive, accessible playground at Ecole Robb Road Elementary. Work includes the design and supply of all materials, labour, and equipment to: design and construct an inclusive, accessible playground integrated within the existing site; include all necessary site preparation works, including verification and confirmation of underground utilities (removal of the existing playground will be completed by the Owner); supply and install firm, stable, slip-resistant, and uniform surfacing throughout the play area, including but not limited to rubberized surfacing; supply and install durable, high-quality, and age-appropriate play equipment; include accessible and inclusive play features within all equipment selections; supply and install seating elements, including benches; and construct all works to ensure accessibility, durability, and full integration with site conditions. Bids shall be submitted in accordance with section 2.4- EMAIL SUBMISSION of the Instruction to Bidders.
