Braintree Public School Playground Structure Purchase and Installation Braintree Public School, pursuant to M.G.L. M.G.L. 30, 39M, is seeking quotes for the purchase and installation of a small playground structure. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Laws apply to all services. Quotes that are not prepared as required will be considered non-responsive. It is the sole responsibility of the vendor to ensure its quotes is received, regardless of the manner of delivery, by the deadline. The Town reserves the right to cancel all or part of this solicitation and to reject in whole or part any and all proposals. Scope of Work It is the intention of this specification to arrange for the procurement of the following: the supply and installation of one (1) small playground structure suitable for preschool-age children (ages 3-5) at the Braintree Integrated Preschool, 128 Town Street, Braintree, MA 02184. The Town is seeking quotes for a compact commercial-grade play structure meeting the following minimum requirements: designed for children ages 3-5; maximum fall height of 48 inches (4 feet); minimum of two (2) slides; stair access to elevated platform(s); no poles, swings, or monkey bars attached to the play structure; ADA compliant; meets ASTM F1487 and CPSC Guidelines #325 for safety. The quote must include all costs associated with purchasing the structure, delivery, installation, required hardware, and any surfacing materials needed to meet safety standards for the fall zone. The Contractor is responsible for all site preparation required for proper installation. Installation must be completed between June 15, 2026 and July 15, 2026. This contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest total price for all specified goods and services.
