The work to be performed under the City of Marysville's 2026 Pavement Preservation Program shall include a 2-inch grind and overlay, planning bitumi-nous pavement, pavement repair where necessary, upgraded curb ramps to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards, utility adjustment, bulb-outs, lim-ited stormwater improvement and sidewalk infill (5th St), shoulder widening (100th St), channeliza tion, site restoration and all other work in accordance the attached Contract Plans, these Special Provisions and the Standard Specifications. All work must be completed in accordance with the Contract Documents and the Contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond (with an autho rized surety company as sure-ty) made payable to the City of Marysville in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount. The City of Marysville reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any irregularities or informalities in the bid or in the bidding. No bidder may withdraw its bid after the hour set for the opening thereof or before award of contract, unless said award is delayed for a period of forty five (45) days. The City further reserves the right to make the bid award as deemed in the best inter-est of the City.
