Contract will provide temporary safety barricades and signage to quartan off the immediate work areas for site location(s) City Center, or as requested by UTA's Project Manager. o Permits: any required permits to perform services i.e. demolition, installation, or regulatory. o Demolition: Removal (Demo) and disposal (Haul-Off) of existing site handrails (~16ea) and guardrails (~40ea), cutting existing railing flush to the concrete. o Field Measurements: Verify all dimensions on-site prior to fabrication to ensure accuracy. Contractor will be responsible for obtaining all measurements and dimensions to fabricate 6 builds of all handrails and guardrails. (UTA does not have drawing, measurements or dimensions) o Shop Drawings: Submit shop drawings showing locations, fittings, connections, and anchorage for approval by UTA's Project Manager before fabrication. (To be provided to UTA by the Contractor after notification of intent to award) o Provide manufacturer specifications for handrail and guardrail materials and coating systems. o Fabrication: Fabricate handrails and guardrails with continuous, smooth, and graspable surfaces. Mounting side anchor plates and flat base plates will be used to replace any sections of handrails or guardrails that are currently set in concrete. o Installation: Install new railings in accordance with approved drawings and code. Contract to specify its installation method, to be submitted as part of its technical proposal. o Site Cleanup: Remove and disposal (Haul-Off) all packaging, debris, and existing materials from the project site.
