Project Site: 22ND STREET FROM 195TH AVENUE NORTH TO HWY 64. Project Length: 5,227 ft. Lift to road: 1¼" base course, approximately 5,227 linear feet x 24' at 4" base course to be delivered and graded out level prior to grinding. Samples will be taken randomly and tested. Samples must meet gradation specifications, if not contractor pays for testing. Final tons to be determined by weight tickets delivered to the job site. Project to be completed October 1, 2026. Grinding: To grind existing asphalt in place. Price to include rough grading behind grinding and rolling. Distance to be grinded: Approximately 5,227 ft. Asphalt Paving: To final grading water and compact base course. To pave with 4LT, 58-28S, hot mix asphalt to an average compacted thickness of 2.50" in depth. All driveways will be wing out with asphalt. Use of two (2) pavers. Distance to be paved length is approximately 5,227 ft. x laid width 20 ft. Final tons to be determined by weight tickets delivered to job site. Graveling Shoulders: Place 3/4" base course for a minimum of a 2 ft. shoulder on both sides of the road at the same level as finished asphalt. Shoulders will be graded and compacted. Loose gravel swept off of asphalt. Distance to be shouldered: 5,227 ft. Project must be completed within 30 days after asphalt paving was finished. Final tons to be determined by weight tickets delivered to job site. Bids must be returned by May 28th, 2026. The township reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof and to waive any informalities therein, and further reserves the right to award the contract in the best interest of the Town of Auburn. No bids will be accepted after 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 28th, 2026. This is a LRIP funded project. Certificate of Insurance required. The contractor shall notify the Town Chairman 24-hours prior to the start of any work. Hours of work must comply with town ordinances.
