Site work and paving for a road / highway in Sunbury, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Sealed bids are sought for resurfacing (Item 422MS - without polymer binder and use #9 aggregate limestone 22# per square yard minimum Single Seal RS-2 -0.35 gal/SY) and (SS1H asphalt liquid cut with water at a 1:1 ratio applied at 0.08 - 0.10 gal/SY) for up to 5 miles of various township roads with an 18' width, on a per mile unit basis. Bids are to be submitted on a unit price basis and in accordance with Ohio Department of Transportation specifications. All materials are to be furnished and applied by the successful bidder under these specifications and under the direction of the trustees. Bidders are required to submit a bid bond, cashier's check, certified check, or letter of credit for 10% of the unit price bid multiplied by the Engineer's estimated quantities. A performance bond for the full amount of the bid is required from the successful bidder. The performance bond must be made out to the township trustees within ten days of the award. The successful bidder must comply with Prevailing Wages for Public Improvement as specified in the Ohio Revised Code. The trustees reserve the right to reject any and all bids.
