The North Platte R-I School District is inviting General Contractors to submit sealed bids for High School HVAC Upgrades located on the North Platte R-I School District Campus at 212 West 6th Street, Dearborn, MO 64439. The scope of work for the Project shall include, but is not limited to, the following: Removal and Replacement of existing HVAC units and Installation of new units Completion-September 4, 2026 High School Location The contractor shall: Removal of existing Heat Pump Units (15) in the High School loop Removal of existing Loop Motors and Pumps District will be responsible for disposal of existing HVAC units removed from service Install new Motor and Pumps with the following specifications: 2 units - 3 phase, 15HP, 254T Frame, 1760RPM, 230/460v Motor or equivalent 2 units - Bell & Gossett Model 3E 10.625 BF, 380GPM, 15HP, 1800RPM, 175PSI Pump or equivalent Procure and Install new ClimateMaster or equivalent Heat Pump units compatible with existing Ground Source Loop system with the following specifications (see HS floor plan document): 7 units - 5 Ton, 2000 CFM, 16 GPM, 59,000 BTU 4 units - 4 Ton, 1600 CFM, 11 GPM, 48,000 BTU 2 units - 6 Ton, 2400 CFM 15 GPM, 67,000 BTU 1 unit - 8 Ton, 3200 CFM, 22 GPM, 93,200 BTU Split this unit into 2 - 4 Ton, 1600 CFM, 11GPM, 48,000 BTU units Add galvanized steel ducting to accommodate units as required by manufacturer's specifications. 1 unit - 3 Ton, 1200 CFM, 10 GPM, 37,000 BTU Install Smoke detector and Interlock to shut down units upon detection of smoke Install new electrical disconnects, wiring, conduit where applicable Reuse existing Install new plumbing, valves, shutoffs Install new unit thermostats Install new system central control unit in HS Data room to control thermostat programming and monitor system Provide a minimum 3 year parts and labor warranty Deliverables Building HVAC and Site plans Safety Plans Timeline for start and completion of project Manufacturers Warranty or Maintenance period
