Site work and paving for a road / highway in Erie, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Proposals are requested for the 2026 Paving II – Liquid Fuels project for the City of Erie. This project is subject to the Davis-Bacon and related acts, and contractors must comply with the City of Erie's MBE and WBE Policy. The project will be partially financed through Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds and is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended, 12 U.S.C. 1701u. Liquidated damages are set at $1,845.00 per calendar day. Proposals must use the forms supplied by the Municipality. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, payable to the municipality. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond or certified check for 100% of the contract amount within 20 days of award. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
