Reference Number 0000322305 Question Deadline 07/02/2026 at 4:00 PM ET Questions are submitted online Yes The purpose of this tender is to prequalify qualified and experienced contractors to provide Signals and Communications (S&C) services in support of VIA Rail Canada Inc.'s railway infrastructure across its network. The services will include, on an as-required basis, the design, engineering, modification, upgrade, maintenance, and rehabilitation of signalling and communications systems, including but not limited to Automatic Warning Devices (AWDs), Centralized Traffic Control (CTC) systems, interlockings, crossings, and associated equipment. Contractors may be required to deliver turnkey project execution or partial scopes, including technical support, field works, software modifications, testing, and commissioning, in compliance with applicable industry standards, Transport Canada regulations, manufacturer requirements, and VIA standards. The intent is to establish a prequalified pool of suppliers capable of responding to future mandates issued through defined Work Orders over the term of the agreement.
